Day 1
Arrival at Colombo, Kandy Excursion
On Arrival at Colombo International airport, get received by a chauffeur driven private cab. Make your transfer to Kandy. En-route, make a visit to the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. The town of Pinnawala near Kegalle, on the route to Kandy has become a vital stopover for most travellers who flock to visit the famed Elephant Orphanage. The cultural epicentre and the hill capital of the island, Kandy is Sri Lanka’s second city and home to the Temple of the Tooth - the country’s most important religious shrine, and the traditional pageant the Esala Perahera. Visit to the Gem Museum and city tour in Kandy including shopping. Later check-in to the Hotel. By evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Get back to your hotel and have a comfortable sleep. Stay overnight in Kandy.

Day 2
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, Exploration tour
After Breakfast make a visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya followed by Tea Factory Plantation visit en-route. Hidden away high in the central mountains at an altitude of over 6000 feet, Nuwara Eliya is the resort capital of the hills – and a world away from the hot tropical beach atmosphere of the coast, not just in climate but in its character too. Visit Sita Amman Kovil, located in a town called Sita Eliya, is just 1 km from the Hakgala Botanical Gardens and a short distance from Nuwara Eliya. This colourful Hindu place of worship is deep seated in legend. The Kovil is said to be built upon the site where King Ravana supposedly held Sita captive in the epic story of the Ramayana. Transfer to Colombo, City tour
Today, have an early morning breakfast and proceed for Colombo. Upon arrival, perform a city tour of Colombo including shopping spree.
