Today, after having an early morning breakfast, set out on a full day sightseeing excursion to Kanyakumari – the meeting point of Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. Visit Vivekananda rock, Thiruvalluvar statue, Vattakottai etc. Kanyakumari is home to lot varieties of delicious fish cuisines. You may try as much as you can before getting back to the hotel. Check-out from the hotel and head to Kollam (70 kms / 2 hours). Kollam, also known as Quilon, is an old seaport and city on the Laccadive Sea coast in Kerala, on Ashtamudi Lake. On arrival, check-in to the hotel and leave your luggage in the hotel room. Fresh up and get ready for a short trip to Thenmala – India’s first planned eco-tourism destination, which is gaining popularity due to its unique vistas and bio-diversity. On this day, go on a tour of places in and around the city. Drive to Athirapilly falls. Enjoy the scenic drive amidst the Kerala’s most beautiful rainforest. Also visit Vazhachal falls which is a nearby attraction. Spend here till noon and post lunch continue to Cherai beach. Spend a comfortable evening at leisure, walking through the sands. Get back to the hotel by late evening. You can visit some shopping malls in the heart of the city, to have a great shopping, dining or movie experience. Stay overnight in Kochi.
